Political Background and Responsibilities:
  • Got associated with the Communist Party of Nepal in 1974, after the Jhapa rebellion.
  • Joined the All Nepal Communist Revolutionary Coordination Committee in 1975.
  • Went underground in 1976.
  • Became a member of the All Nepal Communist Coordination Committee in Bhadra 1978.
  • Became the organizer for Tehrathum and Panchthar districts after the formation of CPN (Marxist-Leninist) by merging various communist fractions on 26 December, 1978.
  •  In December, 1978, became a member of the Taplejung District Committee of CPN (Marxist-Leninist).
  • In 1981, became a member of the Mechi Regional Committee of CPN (Marxist-Leninist).

  • In 2001 became the in-charge of the Health Department within the CPN (UML) central division, and later served in the Engineering Department, Youth Federation Nepal, Nepal National Teachers Organization, and Progressive Professors Association.
